Hi Steven,
I have an update. On my computer with OS/2 Warp, I discovered that I had a
copy of winsock.dll that I had overlooked. I changed all instances of
winsock.dll to match the one in /tcpip/dos/bin, and I had no trouble
getting IE to connect to the internet under Winos2!
I even had two instances (out of five) where Quicken 98 successfully
connected and I was able to update the program.
I still am unable to accomplish this under eCS. Let me know if there is
anything in the iptrace file from the eCS machine that sheds any light on
the problem, or if you have any other suggestions for me.
But I am so pleased that at least Warp 4 Winos2 worked!
Thanks,
Sandy
