Hello SCOUGians
My wife's system HDD has made some noise lately and failed finally.

Well, right time to adjust to more accurate needs and did following:

Old 7.5GB ATA66 (SYSTEM) HDD replaced with a 20GB ATA100 HDD
The previously used 20GB ATA100 (APPS/DATA) HDD replaced with a =

brandnew 40GB ATA100 HDD.

Saved her personal data and cleared and created both HDD's with LVM =

like following:

1st HDD 20GB
first primary C: FAT 2GB for W98SE
Bootmanager (7MB)
second primary C: HPFS 2GB for MCP 452
the rest currently is empty and planned to be a FAT32 D: data partition =

to both OS'es later (replacing the D: on HDD 2)

2nd HDD 40GB
another primary D: HPFS / Data =

E: HPFS / Applications
F: HPFS / Files
G: HPFS / (Gar(b)age)

These installation went smoth on my experimental system and worked ;-)

So these 2 HDD went back to my wife's system ...
=2E.. and there I have NO go ;-(

What happens ?

The system boots and just before showing the Bootmgr Screen it =

only shows a blinking "underline" in the top left corner ;-((

What have I done wrong ??
How can I get this new installation working in its destination system
???

Your advice and guidance is hot awaited !
TIA for your help !!

Cheers, svob=EF
