What do you need the software for ? I've seen time-lapse VCRs for
security use sold on Ebay periodically, and I think they have some
standard hookup for whatever video camera you're going to use. That is to
say, a hardware-only solution. But that is probably more the way it *was*
done, rather than the way it's mostly being done now.
It sounds like you may be moving on to a hard-drive based recording
system, in which case I could see software coming into this.
