It's business as usual from my POV. It's been a long time (like since
forever) that one could just walk into a shop a pick a random system and
be able to assume that OS/2 would install on it cleanly. This is just
another issue to be aware of.

As to how pervasive an issue it will be and how soon, one can only guess.
As to whether a kernel update will address it, who knows.
