I have tried a number of different things but have not gotten the right
incantation. I got the install to run yesterday but can not get it to run
today. Most of what I thought I did yesterday was to just click "next" to use
whatever eCS wanted to install. I am getting frustrated.

Here is what I posted to the eCS install newsgroup.

PHASE1 0x1604. An error occurred while executing
?:\ecs\install\rsp\phase1.cmd 2>&1 >?:\var\log\phase1.I1

Data from the log files for the 0x1604 error.

The contents of file c:\var\log\base.l1

CID0032: S:\cid\exe\os2\SEINST.EXE - Return code from
S:\cid\exe\os2\RSPINST.EXE was 906
CID0005: S:\cid\exe\os2\SEINST.EXE - REMOTE_INSTALL_STATE= 'YES'
S:\cid\exe\os2\SEINST.EXE completed with return code 0x1604

The contents of file c:\var\log\cidwrp.log

Invoking command processor for S:\cid\exe\os2\seinst.exe /b:C:
/r:C:\ecs\install\rsp\base.rsp /s:S:\os2image /l1:C:\var\log\base.l1
/t:S:\cid\exe\os2 command.
CID0032: S:\cid\exe\os2\SEINST.EXE - Return code from
S:\cid\exe\os2\RSPINST.EXE was 906
CID0005: S"\cid\exe\os2\SEINST.EXE - REMOTE_INSTALL_STATE= 'YES',
