Probably just restating the obvious here, but the T20 is of a certain vintage, in
relation to newer drops of the APM. Doesn't mean that *any* version is necessarily
going to work for you. Look at UDF, which -- as far as I've been hearing -- doesn't
work properly for most users. (But I don't have any of the "approved list" drives, so
I can't say for sure.)

If you had a prior version of APM that worked for you, why not go back to it ?
