Lately I can't route FTP to an AT&T server located in the USA due to
some routing problem, though it is accessible from elsewhere. I'd
like to use a proxy FTP server located somewhere else in the world
and would appreciate advice on how to do this, pointers to online
resources, and suggestions for free public FTP proxy IP addresses/
ports.
I tried configuring Netscape Advanced/Proxy/Manual for some
supposed free public FTP proxies (with port shown) from a list
I got online, but most never answered on announced port. One
answered that I lacked authorization. Or did I do it wrong?
Thanks for all help. I cannot presently update my USA website due
to this problem.
