Hello SCOUGians
My Thinkpad T30 has one serial port only !
=
Booting the system it displays 16 ports !!
port COM1 is is displayed as available
ports COM2-4 are NOT displayed
ports COM5-16 are displayed but not available !!!
How do I set accordingly to my systems physical =
availablitiy ???
One more thougts:
Does one know more about COM16's features i.e. =
virtual ports (i.e. 2-4) redirected to port COM1 ??
I would avoid SIO2K since it gives some problems =
and R. Gwinn isn't reachable nor does he answer ;-((
Perhaps I will give another try with SIO 1.6d which =
has worked much better on my previous notebook !?
Any hints and suggestions are very appreciated !
Have a nice Sunday, =
cheers, svobi
