As the Dani documentation recommends, post the results of:
COPY IBMS506$ anyfile
where you get to choose the name for anyfile.
This will give a better picture of what Dani's driver thinks of your
hardware.
BTW, how long is the splash screen displayed before the main window
appears?
Once we rule out the disk drive as a problem we can look at the DNS. It's
always possible Moz is having problems finding your startup page. You
might try configuring Moz for a blank startup page or set to startup
offline. That might give you a hint on where the time is going.
