Hi,
I don't think Nick is around much anymore, and I am wondering about some
settings for ICE that I would like to make, if I can.
Google Mail now allows POP3 and SMTP server access, which is great, but they
want different port settings on both servers and TLS enabled. I see no way to
alter these in ICE, so just wondering if the might be a work around.
In addition, Mozilla 1.8 mail settings seem to lock it into an IMAP4 server,
which gmail does not allow. The windows version of Mozilla accepts all of
these settings, but the OS/2 one does not seem to permit me to change that
either.
I am betting there is no way to use ICE to access gmail, and since Mozilla
mail does not seem to support it either, I guess I would also like to solicit
input on any free OS/2 mail readers that are customizable and will allow me to
set ports, IMAP4, and TLS, (as if I now what those are )
Any advice would be appreciated. I really don't want to have to buy a mail
reader as I don't use gmail all that often, but I would like to take advantage
of the POP and SMTP access I can without moving over to windows.
Thanks,
John
