That's wierd. You have been using DHCP all along with the same router.

Given the new info, I don't think it is an ISP problem. It is more likely
a router problem. It's going to be interesting to see what changed.

Look very closely at the router's DHCP settings.

Figure out what you are doing wrong with iptrace. You should be seeing
outbound packets, even if you are getting no inbound packets.
