That site still lists Thunderbird version 0.9. I found version 1.0 at 
http://www.mozilla.org/ports/os2/ 
It seems to be working fine with Run!.exe, but on its own it gives a 
sys2070 error if Mozilla is already running. (I don't use Firefox).
