As John noted, sometimes you have no choice. Soneone has something you want or
need, and you have no clear alternative source for it.

This was my surmise, only. I recall a basic HTML demo by Virginia Hetrick, in
which she said never to discount the possibility of terrible web page design being
responsible for problems we find. It may have nothing to do with MS or IE, per se.
