Well, RSJ can do this too.

Not to worry.
Drivers first.
To use cdrecord, you need a SCSI ADD driver which you have, an ASPI DMD
which you have and Paul Ratcliffe's ASPI router:
http://home.clara.net/orac/files/os2/aspirb9.zip
Here's my setup:
BASEDEV=OS2ASPI.DMD /ALL
REM aspirout@orac.clara.co.uk v1.1 beta 9
DEVICE=F:\OS2\BOOT\ASPIROUT.SYS /V
BASEDEV=AICU160.ADD /V
BASEDEV=AIC7870.ADD /V
Your drivers and locations will differ, but you can handle that.
It will probably be easy if you disable the RSJ driver until you get
cdrecord working.
Once you get the drivers installed, forget you ever heard of scgcheck.
Run:
cdrecord -scanbus
The output for you CD-RW will look something like:
1,4,0 104) 'YAMAHA ' 'CRW2100S ' '1.0N' Removable CD-ROM
Write down the first 3 numbers. They are what cdrecord needs to find the
CD-RW.
What I do is define the burner settings in environment variables:
set CDR_DEVICE=1,4,0
set CDR_SPEED=12
set CDR_FIFOSIZE=16M
so I don't have supply them everytime.
Once you get through the above or get stuck, come back for more.
HTH,
Steven
