Nothing has changed.
Long term access to drivers and fixes will still be part of the base
purchase price, as it was and continues to be for v1.0 and v1.1. There
may come a time when eCSMT install support will be dropped for v1.0, but
there's no current plans for this, TTBOMK.
Software Subscription Services, which is basically a rebadged Upgrade
Protection, provides prepaid access to new versions. For example, I
received eCS 1.1 without additional cost because I had purchased Upgrade
Protection. In the case of eCS 1.2, Subscription Services would provide
access to v1.3 (or v2.0) if they were to be released during the
subscription period.
HTH,
Steven
