At this time for routers, I would recommend one of the following Linksys
models: WAP54G router, WRT54G router or WRT54GS router. Why? The
firmware for these routers is IIRC Linux based. Click on
firmware and you may have to scroll to the right.

Sveasoft offers shareware firmware for performance and more options
including but not limited to: "The Sveasoft firmware adds a host of new
features to your Linksys WRT54G or WAP54G router - including power boost
up to 900% from stock firmware!"

I own a Linksys WRT54G router and registered the sveasoft firmware. Seems
to work well. Realize at this time there are no OS/2 drivers for 802.11g.
Note if one checks the dslreports.com forums, problems with some of the
firmware released by Linksys themselves is shall we say at times
problematic.

I do like Speakeasy.net; On the phone, tech support does not laugh or even
smile when you mention OS/2.
