With Java 1.4.2_01 it seems to work. With 1.4.2_05, Mozilla closes
down; I believe when the Java test image loads.

Mozilla version is:

http://www.dur.ac.uk/p.m.weilbacher/Peter/mozilla-os2-1.7.2-calendar-mng.zip

I just tried;
http://www.dur.ac.uk/p.m.weilbacher/Peter/mozilla-os2-1.8a3-mng-F1-IE.zip

and a fresh copy of

http://download.innotek.de/javaos2/142_05/install.exe

Same result; 01 works, 05 does not.

Both the above Mozilla versions run without gcc322.dll and libc05.dll.
Adding them does not affect the Java issue.
