The implication of the original post was that the latest version comes with
the java plugin, and the GCC runtimes libs, and maybe some other stuff I don't
know about. I quit going to the latest version after 1.4 as too much trouble,
for no feature upgrades.
This would be good news. One of the things that turns me off most about OS/2
anymore is chasing after files to make something work. Been at this for a long
time, and that stuff gets old after a while. Hopefully, if everything was in
one zip file, that would be a good step forward.
