My main machine is ill. No video shows AT ALL, no BIOS messsages -
nothing, and my monitor is telling me that it's not receiving a signal.
Details:
I changed my CPU fan, in the process removing a memory bank for easier
access. Started the machine up, lots of beeping, no video. Turned it
off, realized that I hadn't removed the one memory bank that I removed.
Replaced the memory. Upon bootup, no more beeping, still no video.
Reseated memory, video card, tightened video connections - still no luck.
Changed video card, no change. Unplugged power for new fan from CPU - no
change. Checked monitor by plugging my laptop into monitor - monitor fine.
Anyone have any ideas? Did my motherboard go south on me?
