If I specify a nameserver e.g. nslookup - 209.51.244.3,
the process stalls with no screen output until it times
out with

[H:\MPTN\BIN]nslookup - 209.51.244.3
*** Can't find server name for address 209.51.244.3: Timed
out
*** Default servers are not available
