I believe that I was my attempt to install Norman antivirus on my ECS 1.14 machine. I   
purchased a 3 year update license from Norman a year ago. I installed it on my Warp 4   
system and kept installation *.exe file and all the license documentation from Norman. I   
then tried to install the same thing on my ECS system, using the installation program   
from a year ago and the 3 year license key. After the initial install I updated it, using the   
Internet. All of that went very well, I thought. However, after doing that and then closing   
down and doing a cold boot up, I came up with a corrupted desktop. It took me about 3   
days to isolate it to the Norman install. After contacting Norman they advised me to use

J. R., I wouldn't do that. I tried to do that several years ago with Warp and it did not work.   
I believe that the incident was that I got a new computer and, because the hardware   
was different, I had to reinstall Warp. As I recall, I had to first install Warp 3.0 from   
diskettes and then install Warp 4.0 over that, using the IBM installation CD's that I had.   
You see, I purchased Warp 4.0 as an upgrade, therefore I had to have Warp 3.0   
already on my system in order to install 4.0. So, ....., I knew that I had 2 installs to do. And   
I did not want to redo my desktop, too. However, UniMaint's portable desktop did not   
work. I believe that it's a nice idea, but it's known to not work. I think maybe Steven can   
comment on that some more.

Yes, UniMaint, CheckINI and CleanINI all work.
