Hi Harry
No, you are not incorrect ;-)
Generally OS/2 resp eCS do not have original FTA32 drivers.
The one existing came from Henk Kelder (WPtools) and was on v 0.94b.
I had tried and had no problems with it on OS/2 ...
=2E.. but once my FAT32 data seemed to be appeared ;-(
I was lucky that from W98SE I was still able to read / use and save !
First of all I saved and then went back to FAT16 and since then =
did not try the FAT32 driver anymore !
In the meantime Henk Kelder has forwarded the FAT32 driver project =
and source to Netlabs:
http://fat32.netlabs.org/
Now it shows v 0.98 !
In the meantime the data partition mentioned above is near full (91%) =
and I would love to change to FAT32 if I hear or know that today's =
FAT32 drivers for OS/2 are more robust and working properly ;-)
Have nice Sunday, svob=EF

Subject: SCOUG-Help: Installing FAT32
Hello:
I'd like some opinions, if I can get them.
I'm thinking of installing FAT32, and somewhere in the back of my head, =
I believe that I heard a couple of negative things about FAT32 =
on OS/2 and ECS. Maybe I'm wrong about that.
Would anyone who has installed it please comment? =
Or, if anyone has heard anything about it, also comment.
Thanks very much!
HCM
