Hi Harry,

I believe someone already answered this ? Anyway, I think this is not an installation
accident, but rather a case of one line per each USB chip / USB Port, and therefore the
seemingly duplicated lines should not be tampered with.

I haven't gotten USB working yet either, but then I haven't spent much time troubleshooting
it either. On my desktop system (still eCS 1.0), the built-in USB-1 ports were
deliberately disabled in the BIOS, when I put in the USB-2 card. That Config.Sys is
definitely not right and needs work, starting with updating of the USB driver components.
On the portable system, the Config.Sys is probably mostly right, but drivers may also need
updating. In either case, things are complicated by the fact that I only have a couple USB
devices here for testing purposes. One is a no-name 6-in-one flash card reader that W2K
identifies as being from Apacer. W2K picks up it and an external HDD right away, with no
problem. There is an OS/2 USB site that lists *some* of the USB gear that has been found
to work, or not.

One thing we may be overlooking is a need (?) for the USBCDROM driver. One might think
this is unnecessary, in the absence of a USB cd drive, but it is described as applying to
removeable storage, across the board. (I could be wrong about this, but it's possible eCS
does not install this driver by default.) I think I need to print out some documentation .
