Exactly what should happen. Only LVM volumes can be formatted LVM.

This I don't quite understand yet.

LVM.EXE needs to show it as K: too.

No sure. I'll have to think about there the message is originating. It
seems to imply that OS2DASD.DMD can not resolve the volume letter to the
partition.

Let me see the output of:

lvm /query:all

The output of:

dfstart.cmd

might alway be useful.
