Okay, here's the problem. I first learned how to use CDRecord to write CDs
with my Yamaha CD writer (originally a 4416 but now an 8824, no change in
results). I've successfully written many audio CDs with earlier versions of
CDRecord including the last in the version 1 series, i.e. Cdrecord 1.11a05
(i386-pc-os2_emx) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 J=F7rg Schilling. So, in other wo=
rds
using the following command in the directory of .wav files that I want to re=
cord
works:

c:\cdrecord\cdrecord speed=3D2 dev=3D6,0 -audio *.wav

All tracks are written at once in a complete, cohesive audio CD. However, t=
he
following doesn't work. I try to use Audio CD creator pointing it directly =
to
the CDRecord directory and I only get coaster. The best I can tell, rather =
than
writing all the tracks at once, it issues a separate command for each track =
(I
get N dead "Complete: Write audio track" windows that need to be closed) rat=
her
than writing them as a block. Also, version 2.0 of CDRecord doesn't work fo=
r me
either. If I issue the above command from a command line (except pointing t=
o
c:\cdr2_0_0 where the version 2 cdrecord is), I get the following response

c:\cdr2_0_0\cdrecord: Too many open files. Cannot open 'xxxxx_14.wav'

where the xxxxx is the root name of the file and _14 is the fourteenth in th=
e
sequence. Not surprisingly, although I can't say exactly, pointing Audio CD
Creator to the version 2.0 of cdrecord doesn't work either, again issuing th=
e
individual write commands. So, first, how do I get Audio CD Creator to work
with CDRecord (either one, really) and how do I get version 2.0 of CDRecord =
to
work? Thanks in advance.

-Rocky
