I have a sort of opposite problem regarding RSJ. It has always worked
great in the
W4 - FP9 partition, but has never really worked in the ECS one. When
I try to burn
a CD in ECS, the whole process slows down tremendously. The green LED
is on for
awhile, then it stops with the Amber LED lit up for awhile, then it
commences "burning"
again for awhile, and so on. When the amber light is lit, the drive
may beep once
after awhile, as if it is giving up. (My interpretation.) Most
often, I eventually have
to abort the Finalize operation with the system process killer.
Whether or not that is
necessary in a given case, the CD in the burner _will be_ a beverage
coaster. Once in
awhile, some enigmatic entry may turn up in the RSJ error log (seems
to be of a
hardware nature); more often there isn't one.

I've done everything I can think of to make the two RSJ installations
identical. Their
respective sections in CONFIG.SYS *are* identical, except for the RSJ
directory
locations. I've messed around with different versions of JJSCDROM, to
no avail.
None of this stuff happens in the W4 partition, _still_ the only place
I can burn CDs
under OS/2. What am I missing here ?
