383 Profiles

If this really has anything you think you need move it to:
X:\MOZPROFILES\PETERTEMP

I don't have one of these. Trash it along with everything else.

Yes. Delete equals ZAP. You will have two components; X:\MOZILLA and
X:\MOZPROFILES. Treat X:\MOZILLA as a single entity. It will be
deleted at each revision change.

Try this.

md X:\MOZTEMP
md X:\MOZILLA
md X:\MOZPROFILES
md X:\MOZPROFILES\PETERTEMP
Move contents of old profile to PETERTEMP
Put mozinstall.exe in MOZTEMP
Run mozinstall.exe. It will offer to use X:\MOZILLA. Click yes. Do
not allow it to use any old profile material. It will create a new
profile several layers down under X:\MOZPROFILES.

Personally. I don't care for that. This is an option;
Move the contents of the new profile to X:\MOZPROFILES\PETER.
Delete X:\MOZILLA
md X:\MOZILLA
Run mozillainstall.exe.
Install will now use X:\MOZPROFILES\PETER.
Delete any existing desktop Mozilla objects, copy mozfold.cmd to
X:\MOZILLA and run it.
You should now have a functioning Mozilla. Backup X:\MOZPROFILES\PETER
and copy any files or cut and paste any content of
X:\MOZPROFILES\PETERTEMP that you think is useful.
Mail should now be in X:\MOZPROFILES\PETER\MAIL. You can put it most
anywhere you want.

As I said before, I am impressed with Mozilla mail. If there is
anything missing, that is useful, that is provided by something else,
let me know.
Ray
