That's just great for you! Somerville is right next to Cambridge,
so it's a 15 minute drive to MIT. ;-)
Decades ago I moved from Somerville to the far outskirts of LA,
and I've not seen MIT for 25+ years.

For those of us within driving distance of LAX, there's the
TRW HAM radio swapmeet, 7am on the LAST Saturday of the month at TRW
at the corner of Marine and Aviation. About half the stuff there
is computer-related. Come early, it's all over at 11:30am. Perhaps
you could manage to stop by on a return trip from Thailand.

I wonder if Eli is still selling electronics surplus in Cambridge?
Perhaps his kids are running the show these days. OR maybe THEY went
to MIT and got "real" jobs.
