Hi Steven
Thanks for your appreciated grain of salt ...
... my soup tastes much better yet ;-))

I appreciate your efforts and your competent hints and
suggestions.

I already had downloaded the newer / newest Java versions and
decided
not to touch my running system anymore.
My intention was to install it on my hopefully soon coming new
experimental
system. There I will install MCP 4.52 plus the update to Java
1.3.1 of course.

I do have a specific question to Mozilla and the IBM Web Browser
regarding
the location of its user profile data. I am splitting executables
and date into
2 different partition (even being on 2 HDD's for security
reasons) very strict.

How do I setup either Mozilla or IBM's Web Browser with following
locations:

E:\OS2\Browsers\Mozilla for the executables and
H:\OS2\Browsers\Mozilla for the data (user profiles, etc.)

As subdirectories I am thinking of a similar way like Netscape
does:
H:\OS2\Netscape\Users\ISP_abbr\Account_abbr

I have got this with Netscape and it worked very well and secure
for many years !!
Your suggestions are very appreciated.

Works better than v1.1.8, but requires a bit more CPU power. You
might
want to take my opiniion with a grain of salt since I will soon
have the
latest Mozilla trunk build install here. This one will advertise
itself
as v1.2+ until it becomes 1.3a.

Steven
