I guess it depends.  Relatives in S.D. have RoadRunner cable, and have complained to me that the connect speed is quite disappointing vis-a-vis the upgrade they were expecting from dial-up / 56K service.  (And I
 *never* see regular modem service connect there at better than about 31K, due to poor line conditions.)

Is this service thru your satellite dish ?  Either way, where do you sign up for it ?  Will they offer you a fixed IP ?  And how is their Tech Support ?
