CR/LF works fine on every system I've ever had access to. You've got lots
of troubleshooting options: reinstall DOS support and reapply FP10. Try
FP12.
Just on the unlikely chance that there's something odd going on with the
file content, you might try:
- move current autoexec.bat someplace else
- create new autoexec with just one line:
REM
See what happens.
