I am having trouble getting the Watcom C/C++ download to work properly.
According to the OpenWatcom website, what I downloaded was a binary
patch to create version 11.0c. In order for it to work, however, you
need the full Watcom C/C++ version 11.0 installed from the CDROM.
Anybody know anything about this?

Meanwhile, if I can use the download, just as it is, I need help. I seem
to have the following problems (at a minimum):

1. I cannot start a project because Watcom tells me that no targets
have been installed.

2. Online help is not available. I am using the IDE application. When I
press help, nothing happens (I unzipped all the *.INF and *.HLP files to
C:\WATCOM\BINP\HELP).

I know that I have all environmental variables correctly set (with a
batch file) before running IDE.EXE. If I go to a commandline and type:

SET > C:\ConfigTest.TXT

I get an ASCII file listing the environmental variable settings. It
shows things like the following:

SET HELP=C:\WATCOM\BINP\HELP; ....,
SET PATH=C:\WATCOM\BINP;C:\WATCOM\BINW; ....,

etc.

The bottom line is that simply unzipping all the *.zip files from the
OpenWatcom site and retaining their subdirectory structure under
C:\WATCOM\ is not working for me. Am I doing anything wrong? Anyone with
suggestions would be muchly appreciated. Thanks.

HCMotin
