Based on past unhappy experience, if you change the default IP,
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND
writing down the new IP address (on a piece of sticky tape)
on (the bottom of) the device.
It can become VERY DIFFICULT to remember the IP address
some months/years later after the device has been moved around,
etc. and you could loose the usefulness of the hardware if you
cannot determine the IP. Some devices have a mechanism whereby
you can determine the IP, but it's often clumsy and inconvenient.
And some just don't!
If you don't change the default IP, then it may be somewhat easier
to recover/remember the address at a later date.
