Progress.
With lprmon -s 192.168.2.1 -p lpt1 lpt1
I can copy a file to lpt1 and it finally sent something to the printer!
It sent three pages:
The first said: pc user 192 168 2 lpd: Job trailer Date
The second page was blank
The third page was the first four lines of my file with the lines
staggered so that the last line ran off the page. The rest of the lines
did not show.
I then tried:
lpr -s 192.168.2.1 -p lpt1 \autoexec.bat
and I got: LPR32.DLL won't initialize, rc = -20021.
So something is working. If there is a problem with tcpip, what is the
best way to fix it?
Thanks,
Sandy
