You are not being clear. Your second try has a syntax error, so it could
not have given the same error message. Checkout requires a module name.

You can try that if you want. I am quite familar with CVS and know that's
not how it works.
From the command line, try:
echo %CVSROOT%
If the displayed value contains ddk2, then the syntax you need is:
cvs checkout .
From the icon, try just pressing enter when prompted for a module name.
This should work if you have already told NOSAC which module to use.
FWIW, I maintain several CVS respositories and access the Netlabs and
SourceForge repositories regularly. Once, I understand exactly what you
have done, so far, it will be simple to give the correct instructions for
you current state.
