A SBlive card in a system with a Tyan Thunder MB, which has two onboard
adaptec AIC160 SCSI adapters, insists on using the same IRQ as the SCSI
adapter controlling the HD even though there are unused interrupts
available. I'm using the SBlive driver from eCS CD #3, and I believe
all the cables are right. System sounds work, but I can't play a music
CD. Could the attempted sharing of an interrupt be the problem or does
the presence of system sounds rule that out? In anycase, it doesn't
seem good to have a high performance HD controlled by a scsi adapter
sharing an interrupt with a sound card. How do I force a device to
use/not use a specific interrupt?
Happy New Year
