CVS checkout is a bit odd. I haven't looked at the NOSAC code, but it's
probably asking for a directory name.

CVS has the notion of sandbox. You check out your project into a sandbox.
You only check out once. After that you just update to pickup new changes
others have made and commit to get your changes into the repository. The
latter does not apply to you because you don't have write access.

I'm a command line guy, so here's what would happen from the command line:

d:
cd \NetlabsProjects
cvs checkout ddk2

The would create the sandbox as:

\NetlabsProjects\ddk2

Note that, by default, the sandbox is always created as a subdirectory of
the current directory. This can be overridden. For example:

cvs checkout -d d:\NetlabsProjects\ddk2 ddk2

would have the same result as the above. What I don't know is which way
the NOASC code is invoking checkout. This will determine the directory
name you need to enter. Try the second form first. That might result in
everything going to:

\NetlabsProjects\ddk2\ddk2

If so, just delete the directory tree and use the other form.

Once you get going, I suggest you also get the sbliveos2 driver. It is
built with Watcom and it is a fully functional driver. The ddk2 project
is more of a toolkit.

Steven
