Good, that's what I was going to suggest, but I'm a bit behind on e-mail.
This illustrates that LVM volumes are not the same as BIOS partitions.
Instead they layer on top of partitions and allow you to choose drive
letters that suit your needs rather than being limited to what is enforced
by the BIOS.
