I know we are an OS/2 group, but my family is asking me about two
Windows problems, and I can't figure it out...

My sister gets an error message when booting W'95 saying that
MRTRATE.VXD can't be found. She can bypass the error and the system
seems to work normally, but it is a PITA. I can't find any mention of
MRTRATE.VXD on either W'95 or W'98.

Another W'98 system pops up a particular folder at boot time and I can't
figure out where it's coming from. I don't see it in the Registry or in
any of the startup folders. Any other suspects?

Thanks!
