Yes. These are the debugging symbols. It appears that IBM's policy is to
release them with all fixes. This is a good thing, if you ever need them.

They need to go in the same directory as the files with the same base name
or they need to go in the directory where you installed the debugging
symbols for PMDF. If you never intend to use the kernel debugger or pmdf,
you can delete them all except for os2krnl.sym which Odin uses.
