My Linksys KVM switch works fine with one PC, but with the other PC, I get
video but no keyboard or mouse.

I tried reversing the PC's switching PC 1 to PC 2.

The one PC works fine as either PC1 or PC2. The other PC does not
recognize the keyboard or the mouse, just the video, whether it is PC 2 or
PC 1.

I tried resetting the keyboard and mouse by unplugging and replugging. I
reset the switch by powering down both PC's and restarting. I reversed all
the cables and the keyboard adapters. What works on one PC does not work
on the other.

Does this sound like a switch problem, or could there be something about
that particular PC? When I plug in its own keyboard or mouse, it works
fine with the switch and shares a video using the KVM switch. So if it can
share a video, why wouldn't it share a keyboard and mouse?

I don't want to send the switch back if there is something I can do to
troubleshoot it.
