O.K., you just reminded me of something else. What does one long

beeeeeeep during bootup (maybe 2 or 3 sec.s duration) mean ? I
believe
it is associated with my switch to a cordless mouse. However,
bootup
proceeds to the expected conclusion, and everything seems to work

normally. I don't think anything turns up in POPUPLOG.

I also recall people reporting 2 beeps or 3 beeps during bootup,
usually before the desktop loads or finishes loading. My recall
is
not very good re such things (why I want to write it down), but I

think one of these may mean that something of a configuration
nature
has changed since the last boot. Also, PROCESS COMMANDER, which
I
gave up some time ago in favor of C-A-D Cmdr., used to give a
beeping
bootup sometimes. Anyway, it would be useful to have a listing
of
what these things mean.
