If you are responding to someone asking for help who

Steven,

Thanks for the info on the files to backup. I knew about the Desktop
tree, but what do the files, scenter.cfg and dock*.cfg, do?

Incidently, I use Sentry, from the Gamma Tech utilities, to backup the
Desktop tree, OS2.INI, OS2SYS.INI and CONFIG.SYS. It's easy to do with
Sentry. You can program it to backup specific files and you can have
timed backups, if you wish. You can also use Sentry to guard certain
files from modification.

Just a thought!
