Do the Icon and Details Views open okay? Is it just the Tree View that
doesn't work?

Does the Tree View open okay when you boot from a different OS/2
partition or from floppy?

I have *heard* that if you have these kinds of problems you should
delete (or rename) the Hidden System file named "WP ROOT. SF" and
reboot. I seem to remember that it's rebuilt automatically. I'M NOT
SURE ON THIS -- I seem to remember that I experimented with deleting
this file a couple of years ago "just to see what would happen"
(nothing, it was rebuilt) but get some corroboration before you try it.
The problem iirc is that this file sometimes becomes corrupt. If you
want to experiment, just rename it and see what happens after a reboot
(usual disclaimers apply). I have some partitions which _don't_ have a
"WP ROOT. SF" file in their root directory so it doesn't seem to be
critical.
