Thanks Steven,

I had looked there, but not closely enough. Fixed now.
But here's another one--on my thinkpad.

User Profile Manager is trying to start on bootup, but apparently can't
and I get an error message, UPM0004C. Once boot is finished I can log
into UPM. But can't see where this is setup to start automatically.
Probably caused by a messed up Lan Server Administration which I don't
think I need either. None of this is serious. I was trying to tidy up
a bit before starting more serious things, octave.
