Me?

The size of a driver doesn't necessarily indicate how complex it is, but
it's one indicator. Take a look at the sizes of the drivers for your
device which already exist (on any platform) to get an idea of how big
your "new" driver is going to be.

For starters, try the BASEDEV=, DEVICE= and IFS= items in your
CONFIG.SYS. There are some nice little DLL's that go along with some of
these . . .
