Hi Steve,

Thanks. The "Browse" function gave you a tree view of the news groups,
sorta like this:

comp.*
+-comp.os.*
+-comp.os.os2.*
+-comp.os.os2.announce
+-comp.os.os2.games
+-comp.os.os2.networking

Each lower tree level had a little folder you clicked on to open it.

It was a great way to do research on, say, OS/2, because you could
instantly see all the newsgroups in the comp.os.os2.* hierarchy and then
browse through whichever one you selected.

I understand there's a guy in Seal Beach who used it to research old
railroad traction stuff. :)
